Lynn first found art in high school during a time when her life was being turned upside down and inside out with the break up of her family. Art was her solace and therapy. She took every art class she could fit into her schedule and has often credited her art teacher for her supportive teaching and positive influence.  Lynn found art again when major forces in her life collided, her life skidded to a stop suddenly, and the job she was proud to call a career was lost. When Lynn met her psychiatrist for the first time she told him about her compulsion for drawing and his reply was immediate: don’t stop. And she didn’t. Now, Lynn wants to share the peace and tranquility she has found in her work with all colorists.

Lynn McSparrin is a mother and a daughter, a sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She lives in Florida with her wife, Melinda.
